Student Survey during Unity Time on 12/5
On Thursday 12/5 students will take a short survey designed to learn more about how our students are experiencing middle school and what supports they may need to help address conflicts or safety concerns. The responses will be used to plan activities to promote positive peer interactions; eliminate physical altercations; respect one another; and have the tools to manage conflict appropriately. Please contact your child's counselor or administrators with questions or requests.

Activities for Boys and Girls Planned for 12/13
On 12/13 there will be an assemblies for 7th grade girls and an assembly for 8th grade girls during Hawk Time. There will also be activities for the boys. Our intention is to promote positive peer interactions among all students and give students additional skills for conflict resolution. The assemblies will be facilitated/led (and planned by) our counselors and administrators. We are also inviting counselors from our elementary feeders. The activity for the boys will be facilitated by the teachers.
For students who want to go home together on the bus after school: a hand-written bus note, with parent’s signature, is required from both parents of the students making the request. A temporary bus pass will not be issued without the hand written notes from both families. These policies are in place for your child’s safety. Thank you for cooperation and understanding. Notes must be submitted to the office before the last block of the day.
