The vision of the Herndon Middle School Student Services team is to ensure that all students have equitable access to rigorous and relevant learning opportunities that promote positive identity, agency, and commitment to community. We are dedicated advocates, working in partnership, to ensure students discover and develop their individual strengths to meet future life, career, and global challenges. 

Our Mission 

Herndon Middle School Student Services seeks to provide a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program that advocates for academic growth, personal and social development, and exploring post secondary opportunities.  We achieve this through equitable access to direct and indirect services and collaboration between all stakeholders, including other educators, parents, and community partners. The student services team encourages and empowers all students to embrace diversity, promote a positive difference in our school and community, and become productive contributing citizens. We believe all students can achieve their current and future goals and become lifelong learners.
