FCPS Prevention- Guest Speaker at Herndon HS Topic: Vaping
Risky teen behavior is a concern for all parents. Fairfax County Public Schools looks to assist in the prevention of such behavior through a variety of avenues including providing education to parents on student involvement with alcohol, tobacco, drugs and other substances. Welcome John Bordenkecher
We are pleased to welcome John Bordenkecher to our staff for the remainder of this year. He will serve on our administrative team as the 8th grade dean of students. In this role, Mr. Bordenkecher will work with students, teachers, counselors and families to address needs that arise and help with positive interventions and supports as well as disciplinary consequences when necessary. Mr. Bordenkecher has been with FCPS since 2014. He served as a dean at Key Middle School last year. He has extensive experience in teaching and in leading initiatives to create a positive school culture.
