A Legacy of Learning, Renewed
Nestled in Herndon's historic district, Herndon Middle School offers a charming and rich history. Opened in September 1961, our school has undergone significant renovations over the past two years, thanks to the collaborative efforts of our administration, staff, PTA, and community partners.
Under the leadership of Principal Vereb, we've updated our campus with fresh paint throughout classrooms and hallways, new blacktop and basketball courts, pickleball lines, and revitalized outdoor learning centers. In partnership with Capital Murals, we've also created student-centered murals that reflect our school's identity.
This summer, our library was completely redesigned, incorporating valuable student feedback. The result is a stunning and inviting space that inspires learning. Additionally, our 3D printers and newly constructed outdoor classroom provide unique opportunities for hands-on exploration.
We remain dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment through ongoing school beautification efforts.
