National Mental Health Awareness Month

May is National Mental Health Awareness month. Many students struggle with emotional and behavioral issues that can affect their learning and overall wellness. To help address this, HMS will participate in Stress Less Week! The Student Services department has organized a week of fun activities to help students and staff relax, unwind, and stress less!

During lunch: Earn some Laffy Taffy by sharing your best jokes on the microphone!


Wear your blue and think calming thoughts! Focusing on the positive is key when it comes to mental health! During Lunch: Sign-Up for the 5K

Hawk Time: Coloring, Make your own Stress Ball, or Yoga (sign up required)

After School: Staff Car Wash  (sign up required to volunteer)
